About Us

Welcome to the Hutton Henry & District Community website, this site will tell you who we are, where we are and what we do.

Where Are We

Hutton Henry is a small village in the east of County Durham, adjacent to the A19 north and located between the towns of Hartlepool & Peterlee.

Our Aims

The Association’s aim is to support and provide community activities and facilities within the village, the centre of which will be the St Francis Village Hall.

Great news

The Association are delighted to announce they have been successful in securing a grant of £9000 from the National Lottery Awards for All

Easter Themed Coffee Morning-30th March 10am-12

There will be an Easter Egg Tombola as well as activities for all to take part in, or just pop along for a catch up with family and friends.

The return of SKERNE-6th April 7:30pm

One of our most popular social events is the local folk band SKERNE. Tickets are £8 including pie and peas and are available now from the usual places. Watch out for the posters and flyer through the letterbox. Bring your OWN DRINK. Tickets from Hazel 01429 836282.

The Tuesday Band-27th April 10am-12

A pluck, slide and squeeze band will be performing for us at the coffee morning.

Fish & Chip Bingo-3rd May 7-10pm

Its back, come along and enjoy good old fish and chips while having a game of Bingo and catching up with friends and family. Bring your OWN DRINK. Tickets from Margaret 07909 832229 or Clare 07835 218902.

Jewellery Making

Jewellery making with the fantastic Brenda

A wide variety of jewellery is made each week and will have at least 1-2 pieces to take home. Cost is £10/week. Pop along and give it a go!
